My mother and mentor, Karen Walker, was a highly respected Realtor and community volunteer in Santa Fe for 47 years. Among her accomplishments were Chairing the committee which made Santa Fe a Home Rule City, drafting the original Escarpment Ordinance and sitting on the Historic Design Review Board for 7 years. But it was her knowledge and common sense which made her such a legend in the real estate industry.
